11.30.2008 Happy Thanksgiving from the Roosters!!
Even though the F.T.B. Tour is quickly coming
to an
end for 2008, there are still are few good shows on the
schedule for you to get out and experience. Coming up
on December 5th and 6th, the boys are heading for
new territory in Anderson, IN. This will be the band's
first experience in A-Town and of course, their first show
at Kroakerheads, a great biker-friendly
joint in downtown
Anderson. The boys kick the music off around 9:30p on
both nights, so get there early and settle in for the show.
Also on the schedule for December is another trip to
Raccoon Lake to see all the Rooster Crazies out at the
Roadhouse. It'll be a two-night stand there
as well and
there'll be a few surprises for the Christmas version of the
Roosters!!
The band is also pleased to announce that this year they're
throwing their own New Year's Eve party. After 7 years of
hard luck playing all over the state, the guys have decided to
do their own event. It's called the
Roosters New Years Rockout
and it's gonna be a doozy! First of all, it's an
all-ages event, so the thousands of young Rooster fans
can attend with their families. Also, the boys are
bringing in their good friends, 800lb. Gorilla
to get the crowd
warmed up. These boys are one of the best new bands
around and they've just recorded their first CD in the same
studio that the Roosters use for their projects. You can learn
more about the band at
http://www.myspace.com/800gorilla.
There will be plenty of fun at the party, ranging from
door prizes to a surprise guest magician! There will be a
cash bar for the adult guests as well. Hotel room discounts
are available for anyone who doesn't want to drive home
that night, complete with complementary pickup.
The party is being held at The Atrium, on the south side of
Indy near Roncalli High School.
Tickets cost $10 and go on
sale December 1st. You can buy them at any Roosters live
show or at
the RoosterStore.
Kids age 10 and under get in
free with their parents.
The room can only hold 250 people,
so there won't be any more tickets offered in the future. Don't
delay because these tickets are gonna go fast!
Stay tuned for more news and updates about the
Rockout,
as well as news from the upcoming new CD project!
